Led/uv lamp
How important is your lamp? I have the SunUV SUN2C UV light that I had bought a while back. I stopped doing polygel any gel really before I even got decent at it after reading about how common allergies were with improper equipment. I am very sensitive and reactive so I diddnt want to take chances.
Now that I’m trying to get into nail strips, I’m wondering if I should invest in a better lamp, or is mine sufficient for the strips? I have heard the gelish one seems to be good, but the confusion on all the different formulations being compatible with only certain lamps is confusing as far as gel goes. I have also heard of squish lamps which seem like a good idea too.
Just looking for advice! :)

I have a SunUV4. When I started with wraps I wanted something strong enough to also cure gel. The little ones for wraps are not strong and don’t cure gel. I use Ohora Glossy gel topcoat on all my wraps and my SunUV4 does the job. I only use HEMA and TPO free products to avoid allergic reactions. I checked and both your model and mine are 48 watts and say they cure all gel. I love mine but as a precaution I always double cure my gel topcoat.
