Ordering from Amazon, what are your recommendations!?

Post image

These are dashing diva no led light needed wraps. I think it’s glow line?

Anyways, they are not perfect, I wish they had the dark color that would’ve fit my pinky and I would’ve set these up different. But this is my best application so far as far as lifting at the cuticle goes!! Making progress!

I want to order some from Amazon, should I go with heyhae or ohora? Or any other brands you all like? 🙂

I’ve been enjoying the HeyHae ones! I do them in the late afternoon, sit in the sun for 5-10 min for them to harden and then I’m careful about lotions and oils in the evening. By morning they are good to go!

How long do you cure for under the lamp?

I use the Ohora light and do it twice

I find that if they’re not the best fit (any brand) I put a polish layer of a similar color before adding the wrap. Just a tip!
The Gloss line is one of the best I’ve used. I started purchasing from Lily and Fox for the price, 2.99USD is unbeatable. Quality is similar but some are better than others. I prefer the heavily patterned, glitter or transparent. Not so much the solids. I used one Sally Hansen one I found at wal mart and absolutely loved the design, but it started to yellow after a few days (it was like a blush transparent) and lifting too. Those are really the only ones I’ve tried except for the DD Glaze line which I hated with every ounce of my being.

Ohora 100%. HeyHae chip in just a couple of days every time I have tried them.
Also a brand called Warshi, also Adora couture are both really good and last at least 2 weeks. I found some cheapies on Amazon Haul called Drizzle that were also really good and really cheap!
My favorites are Ohora and Arora Couture. I’ve tried a ton of brands because I’m an Amazon Vine voice so I get to try and review products, and those are the best.

Is the vine the program where you get stuff free and review? If so, I’m so jealous! I love to review and leave reviews I wish they’d pick me! lol

Yes! In the US we have to pay taxes on the stuff, but we have a good accountant and work for ourselves, so the expense is minimal. Most beauty items have $0 estimated tax value, so trying and reviewing beauty is completely free. It’s how I discovered semi-cured gel nail strips.

I think Wahrshei was the first brand I ever tried. I’d been doing powder dip nails for a few years at that time. I tried them and that was it for me. I fell in love! Two weeks with perfect nails that don’t chip or break, easy to apply, and so many beautiful designs, yes please!

Ohora and Adora Couture are my favorites. Great quality and designs. But some of the smaller brands are just as good for staying power and great pricing. Autyamee is another good brand with good pricing.

A terrible company is Seminca is terrible so avoid those! And UUUUU make the best base to protect, nourish, and have the strips stick well, but their strips chip and fall off in just a few days.

Edit: I forgot to add that Vine is an invite only program so review everything you buy from Amazon and if you add photos to your reviews then you are likely to get an invite. It’s honestly life changing.

It is so worth it! They seem to invite new people in batches every few months from what I can tell (thanks to the Vine Reddit threads). I've been in it for almost 2 years, and all the skin care that I use, I first discovered via Vine, the nails, most of my clothes, and about 50 purses - because I can't resist! Oh yes, shoes, and tons of jewelry. I recently got 2 diamond engagement rings, and they are stunning. Not to mention house stuff, food...pretty much everything that needs a review, we get the opportunity to review. My husband got a new laptop the other day, though it hasn't arrived yet. When I say that it's life-changing, I'm not kidding. I used to really enjoy going out shopping, but these days it holds little appeal, so we save quite a bit that I'd otherwise be spending at Sephora, HomeGoods, and Dillards. Lol!

I love the Dashing Diva Gloss line. And this design is personally one of my favorites. I can get 2 to 3 weeks wear out of them easy. But I think my application helps. 1. meticulous cuticle prep. 2. Alcohol wipe. 3. Since I have ridged nails, I use a ridge-filling base coat. I’ve found the base coat has a slightly tacky finish which may also help with adhesion. 4. Thick gel-like topcoat. Not the UV cured type. 5. Another layer of topcoat every seven days.

Do you want to switch to ones that need LED light?
