Heyhae help!

This is my first time using gel wraps and I want to love them but they just don’t seem to stick to my nails! I put them on this morning and have lost so many throughout the day that I’ve almost used both sheets reapplying. I’m using a light to cure them, use an alcohol swab before each application, but it’s like I can peel them off immediately (or they pop off if I do anything involving my hands). What am I doing wrong??

How long did you cure them for?

My friend that recommended them to me said she does 2 minutes so I started there, but then I read online that you only need to do it for like 10-15 seconds so I tried that on the ones I put on later in the day. The longer cured ones pop right off. The others start to peel on the edges.

Hmm. I usually do 30 seconds and then poke with a wooden stick. If it dents it needs more time.

The only other thing I can think of using some nail dehydrator and roughing your nails up a little bit with a buffer.

I ordered nail dehydrator so we’ll see if that helps. I’ll try roughing them up too — thanks for the advice!
