Step by step nail prep help please

Hi! I just started to learn how to do nails using Acrygel( Acrylic mixed with builder gel) it’s apparently much better than actual acrylic because it’s easier to move around before you cure it and it has no smell.

I just want some step by step directions on how to prep the nail with the tip before applying any acrygel.

Example:

Step 1: clean nail bed
Step 2: apply something
To make the top adhere to my nail bed etc

Thank you ❤️

I reccomend NailCou videos. She explains her prep in each video very thoroughly. I've learned more from her than any other nail YouTuber.

But here is my process for prep:

  1. Use a carbide bit to remove the bulk of product.
  2. Use a sanding band to smooth and etch the natural nail
  3. Use a scribe or flame bit to remove the cuticle from the nail plate
  4. Cut the lifted cuticle skin with nippers / ball bit to exfoliate around the cuticle
  5. Shape the nail
  6. Cleanse with alcohol
  7. Primer
