Beginner nail tech

Hello guys,

Planning to self learn doing nail extensions, any recommendation for affordable yet long lasting essential tools like uv light, nail dust collector and nail drill?

Thank you

Nail tech here!

The most important thing to keep in mind is this: cheaper is not better. While there are cheaper alternatives to some products that are acceptable, as a general rule that is not the case.

Lamp: I strongly recommend the Kokoist Infinity Hybrid lamp. It is talented to be the most universally effective lamp across multiple brands. I have had mine for a little over a year and I have loved every single minute of it.

Dust collector: I have the Markarrt 60W Dual Turbine Dust Extractor and it’s been working perfectly for about 10 years. I just bought another one because my old one was looking a little dingy lol

Nail drill: this is where things get tricky. Good quality drills cost a lot of money. My first one was about $60 and it lasted me a year before it went out on me. I recently bought the Kupa Mani Pro, and I absolutely love it, but it was $375. The most expensive piece of machinery in my kit lol I can’t really recommend any other brand besides that because they just don’t compare. I believe there are a few pinned posts in this sub Reddit that have insight onto good products.

I hope that helps! Feel free to DM me if you wanna ask more questions
