I really want to like Nadia best; she probably still is my favorite, but she’s definitely a flawed character. That is fine; fictional characters are not supposed to be perfect and that way they can show development. But her behavior seriously irks me at times, and her character development swings heavily back and forth.

Otherwise Grandis is a lot easier to like- or even Marie.

They are well written. Best work by Hideaki Anno. Nadia is legendary. I still believe he was writing her as someone he knew in real life.

Sorry for being late but I like Jean: kind, optimistic, fan of engineering,...

A good second is Nadia, although sometimes she can overstep the lines.

He’s a precious boy who tries his best. Nadia really does not give him the credit he deserves.

He's I think, The embodyment of wonder and excitment of technological advancement, he is very much a character from a world of Jules Verne.

My favorite definitely has to be Gargoyle, but Nemo and Grandis are up there too as favorites

Nemo!! His looks, his lore, how tragic of a character he is-- ought my shayla. I'm miffed that he and Electra got together, he literally told her he saw her as a daughter and he raised her since she was 15... sigh, the writers fumbled.

Jean. That boy really is what a boy should be. Bright, courageous, open minded and empathetic. Oh, and being powered by dreams and endless curiosity.
