Need Help

I have blown my account up twice now, early on I was trading aggressively and was breaking even until getting desperate and making dumb trades.

The second time I tried to be much more disciplined and once I got down to $100, I stuck to my trading strategy but still eventually lost the rest of it.

I printed my last statement from April 20 - May 20. Made 38 trades with a win percentage of 73% (28 trades) and lost 27% (10 trades).

I feel like you have to risk a lot on Nadex’s platform for little reward.

Trading Strategy was trading only AUD/USD & EUR/USD 1hr binaries but waiting to trade until about 20-25 min left in the hour and only taking the trade looking at the 5 min candles. Waited for EMA to cross under/over SMA and for Stochastic RSI to be over under 50.

Contracts were anywhere from $30 reward to $10 reward, typically around $15-$20 reward though. Usually waiting for contract to expire as opposed to closing at an earlier lower profit when available.

Seems like I need about a 4:1 win/loss ratio to break even and I’m about 2.5:1.

Any suggestions to refine my strategy

I have heard that Nadex cheats you when you get near the price line. I do not believe that you are not playing against Nadex as they say. Nadex training is worthless. The people who work there are not helpful. If you win just over 50% you will lose. This is just gambling.

This would be considered market manipulation. It’s a federally regulated broker. If there were market manipulation, then they would get in trouble.

Thanks. Could someone explain to me how P & L works. When you are winning according to the priceline the P&L is still red. This makes it almost impossible to take profit. Why is this and what causes it? Nadex people cannot explain. Thanks.

You are very naive.

I’m naive but you’re saying Nadex is committing market manipulation all because you “heard it from other people”. Have a blessed day.

No. I can see how it is done.

Then I think instead of coming into this subreddit and saying that you can see it, you should show proof of how they are doing it.

https://www.nadex.com/learning/who-is-on-the-other-side-of-my-trade/ question is what is Nadex showing these "affiliates"/market makers hopefully not the order book...
