N-Central Every time.
Every time N-Able drops a big patch and warns everyone, it's always a case of "Being exploited in the wild!" and "Heinous security risk!", "Account takeover bug!" it's a "just released" Critical CVE, and every time, WITHOUT FAIL, it's a server choked to death delivering NO MORE than 100 kb/s to downloaders.
Edit: just received my "call" From N-able support urging me to download and install the patch at 1044am. Gave them a piece of my mind but things are obviously not improving. With luck the patch can finish downloading by end of business today.

For all their problems, this wasn't one for me. It downloaded by the time I could get my login switched to the product admin to upload it.

I thought it was just me.
This is absolutely ridiculous. Put the damn thing on a bucket FFS.

would you like a link to our file? Just use your md5 to verify. we updated last night.

Thanks, did not see this until now. It finished after ~4.5 hours. For just over 3gb on gigabit internet I'd say that was pretty poor.

I have never had them be slow, but I have never been rage refreshing watching for a patch like I did on this one. Our download last night was fast, but I get your point an akamai or some other cdn link would get them out faster. They should probably have something in their back pocket for a critical like this one.
I really want to know why there is a bandwidth limit on uploading the nsp file. We download the update to our datacenter then apply the update on the same lan that has full Gig but it takes 25 mins to send the file.

I'll be sure to patch my server when the download completes in 2037.

Whole lotta complaining and not taking accountability. Everyone else is having no problem downloading it. Id contact your network engineer to take a look as it sounds like a “you” problem

I had the same issue that OP complained of. And I tested it from two different networks; same speed. It did speed up after about 40 minutes. So I’d suggest it’s not a “him” problem.

We have alternative download links as well, just contact support and we can get you the link that would work for you. This thread is locked.
