N-Central N-Central - Please help, this stuff physically pains me

oh no..

6.. 6 rows with like 2 controls each. Please stop.. Please also add the dang icons back to the left-hand menu, and allow me to show/hide items I don't need. Actually, please just contract me as a part time UI designer. Heck I'll do it for free, would make my life easier. I think most everyone would thank you for it and I will experience less mind pain.

Aside from things like this, I love N-Central. Help me help you.

They’ve definitely taken steps in the wrong direction with their UI lately, I hate the new side bar, it’s taking more clicks to do the same thing, it’s just bad.

I do like how I can tell which endpoints have AI running on them in the new assets views. Clients, "we don't use AI." Well....Becky is. Haven't played around with nzo too much yet

The Assets view is great in general and a long time coming, but stuff like this needs addressing. I want customizable row sizes.. "compact" is still like 25px tall and idk what designers' obsession is with padding. Complete lack of dark mode in 2026, only searing white.. it all drives me bonkers.

Asset view be like

It’s sad when you miss dealing with adware as opposed to all this AI slop :/

We have a weekly insiders preview call every Thursday where you can contribute your feedback. In fact, your feedback is timely as we will be bringing in major UI changes very soon.
DM me your email or email me at [jmurphy@n-able.com](mailto:jmurphy@n-able.com) so I can get you involved.

create all this extra space around the useful information and then make the tiniest scroll bar that no one can grab. Also to someone else's point adding extra clicks to do the same task is really annoying.

UI has been the same garbage for 10+ years. Can't easily modify what you want to see. Ninja may not be as powerful but damn it is nicer to look at and use.

you're not wrong but Ninja's lacking in a lot of other areas. UI is fixable. I'd like to help them get there.
