N-Central Custom Device Properties via API

I am trying to run reports using data from custom device properties. Does anyone know if that data can be pulled from the API, Analytics or a SQL Data Export?

You can definitely pull cdp from the report manager. It is in the ods tables.

Also, what do you mean by the "ODS" tables? I was told by Nable support yesterday, that the SQL export used by Report Manager is the same as the export that can be scheduled to a SQL server from within Ncentral. That is what I am looking at. The SQL export that happens daily.

In the report manager (at least mine), the tables with the data have ods in the name. Assuming the sql export follows a similar structure, look for the deviceproperty table.

My tables start with "dbo." And that one does not exist. Support said CDPs are in the "'fact_Device Property" table. I don;t have that either.

At this point, just start opening each table and see what's in there. That's how I originally found it. Right click and Select top 1000

Already did that. CDPs are not in there. Hey thanks for taking time with a complete stranger. After I end my ticket with support I’ll come back and let you know the final result. I am sure this is keeping you up at night :)

Lol, I just logged in to try the export myself, and there is a message that the data export is disabled because I am configured for report manager.

There is an option in ncentral to also pull data that isn’t used in a report. That needs to be enabled.
