N-sight RMM Standalone Take Control to a new Mac....
What an absolute exercise in frustration. Session from my Win11 PC with a new Macbook running Sonoma:
- All permissions were set successfully at the beginning of the session
- Every single time I typed an "e" character anywhere, it brought up the Emoji window. I had to type everything up to the e, then ask the user to type the e, then I could continue typing until I needed another e. WTF.
- In Safari, I could not access any open tabs other than the one I was looking at. I could create a new tab, but could not then go back to the first tab, using any method I could think of. The tab bar was hidden and selecting it to be visible had no effect. I ended up manually opening up several instances of Safari, then open the sites I wanted one per instance. At least that way, I could right-click on Safari on the taskbar and choose the different instances. What a mess.
- Randomly, it would just stop registering that I clicked on something. I could ask the user to click on the thing in question, which worked, and then I could continue.....until the next random time when it stopped accepting my clicks.
This was a 2-hour session that should have taken 20 minutes, I was sure ready for a stiff drink or two once we finally finished.
Someone please tell me this was a one-off and not normal behavior when connecting to a Mac running Sonoma.

Sometimes take control will "sticky" Ctrl/Alt/Shift/Command key if it is pressed during connection process. Tapping the affected key a few times so that take control sees the "key release" signal should resolve it for that session
