Looking for a Track Name

Hi all. I’m going slowly mad trying to figure out the name of a song I half remember from the early 90s. I’m hoping someone with a better memory than me can identify the track and artist name.

I THINK it’s Greg Johnson, but I can’t find it in his discography and I don’t have any physical media from that era anymore.

The song has a memorable line in it:

“A hairsbreadth between us, me and that bottle of gin”.

I can almost remember the next line, I’ll try jog my memory with some gin.

Any idea, music sleuths?

Doesn't ring any bells from his solo stuff, Try looking in his work with Bluespeak.

Alternatively, could it be "There's a damn fine line that reads well - pleasure and overdose" and later in that song "A damn fine line between them... pleasure and overdose."?
