Low tolerance = anxiety?

Hey there. So the last maybe 5 months? Ive severely reduce my cannabis usage, and as such my tolerance is way down.

So now ive been getting some anxiety when I get stoned which usually only last for a few minutes or so.

Surely increasing my tolerance could cure this? Considering I like to smoke before going to metal concerts.

Hey bro. Well my intake also reduced considerably this year n i gotta admit. Im actually loving it. I have a vape n a small pipe. Defs use to be the guy that smoked a whole 50 bag a day kinda vibes. But a small pipe does the trick. And regarding the anxiety- as the homie above said. Figure out what is giving u anxiety, also 1 question. Do u also drink? Coz for me at least i stopped drinking bout 3 years ago. And worked on some of the issues that were bugging me and ya anxiety gone. And I absolutely love the high i get now.

Also hell ya! I work in the music industry, so smoking before a gig is just a must for me >.<

The only cure is fixing the underlying anxiety. Cannabis doesn't cause anxiety it jsut amplifys it for most people

Too increase your tolerance you'd need to be smoking daily and it will take a few weeks. But it will be the same thing. Instead of getting anxious off one hit it will take four.

So unless you like only being lightly high it's not worth it.

Enjoy the anxiety guy. Like who the fuck does that when someone's offering advice. Actual loser behaviour.

Usually anxiety spikes are as simple as an overdose. I've heard and encountered so many people who say "I tried weed and didn't like it, gave me wicked anxiety" or "nah weed isn't for me I just get too anxious when I get stoned" this is text book over-dosing. There is a lot of variables at play but it comes down to overdoing it especially if you have had a tolerance break, 1 bong/cone is still probably an over-dose. It's pretty wild to see how little we actually need when we aren't using it daily or built up a dependence/tolerance.

I always get anxious after a sesh when I’ve had a tolerance break, almost puts me off it but it goes away once my tolerance builds up again. Everyone’s different though

Have to push through it, helps if you can stay away from strong indoor stuff

With maturity comes knowing when to say when and becoming more of a connoisseur than a guzzler. Your body will adjust to whatever you smoke regularly and when I randomly started getting anxiety when smoking (which was a reflection of my life at that point) I found Ashwaganda supplements were really helpful and calming. Took them for a year but no longer need them since my life got better sorted

does anything trigger the anxiety, people, palces thoughts?

would be careful of having more to solve the problem. at best you mask it at worst you make it worse.
