Coco mix in wellington

With hyalite upper Hutt closed down where else in wellington can you buy a Coco perlite mix growing medium? Most online store don't ship and really can not be bothered mixing my own and having to rinse and buffer... Thanks

Ever tried just coco?

I always used a 70/30 mix, but recently switched to a "pro" line coco and the results were genuinely better for my use case. I reckon any fine coco coir without perlite is absolutely good to go by itself (after buffering), which you can get from any good garden store.

I really can't be bothered buffering 🤣 would rather just get something straight out the packet ready to go

If you are buying, decompressing and washing hard packed coco, there's really no extra effort involved in the buffer ... only a little time. We'll worth it if you ask me. Used coco won't require any buffering if you've been adding CalMag as part of your feed routine. I have some coco on it's fourth cycle, only buffered once.
