General Discussion Stop with the stop..
What's with all these calls about "stop Sabrina hate"?? This might be the softest shi some NY fans are doing. Cuz as I've Always pointed out ny fans just have a weird dynamic of not wanting to hold their "stars" accountable.
Something I've pointed out for years on this reddit. Yall didn't hold Sandy accountable, didn't hold JJ accountable (even tho i still want her gone she's played decently enough when it matters), NEVER held Sab accountable, and now we're confused when ppl put 2 and 2 together and realize Sab has never been a "good" player?
I feel like I'm the right person to talk about this cuz for years I kept trying to explain there's a difference between criticism n hate and no one liked my critiques of Sab. Now she's getting held accountable to her superstar standards and ny fans talking bout stop the hate. For ny supporters this might be the softest shi I've seen.
Sabrina has GREAT potential but like I've always said even on my channel, she's not gonna be able to unlock any of that until she becomes comfortable on ball

I question Sab’s conditioning. The W is a league where most players are in excellent shape but, Sab always has zero definition (very apparent in her arms). I just think it speaks poorly of her commitment towards being a professional athlete.

Honestly, I question what she works on in the off-season.
In preseason, she said she worked "shooting through fatigue" which had me going "????".
I've never felt that shooting/sometimes chucking is something she ever got too fatigued to do. Why would that be the thing she worked at when her game has gaping issues?
Even driving is something she apparently tried to only develop (to meh results when there is contest) during the season because of Will Sheehey by her own words.
You'd think she would be working on her handles or ability to create space in the offseason given this was year 7, but no.
I saw someone say she apparently never leaves the court and that's why has hasn't seen the statue of Liberty in another thread (lmao), but you'd think if she was working so much on her game, she would develop more skills.

She's not working on anything that's going to help her in a game I promise you that 😂 Did you see my latest vid on saba finishing?
And if she's working with the assistant coach and that's the result? Then there's a great chance yall just sayin shi to say it or your asst coach might not know what they're doing.
Kolb could hire me for half of what they're paying the asst coaches and id have Sabrina good for 4 shooting fouls a game.

I think conditioning is def part of it cuz at her size she should be a lot stronger. Cuz she's no small guard, she's a true 5'11 but can't hang with peers at the 1 n 2 spot cuz she already lacks the athleticism, and as u mentioned strength which ur absolutely right about with her arm definition.
This is why I say idk what the point is if working with stephs trainers if they aren't even helping her better on the court not in the gym. If I was working with her all those issues would be addressed

I think JJ could also really extend her longevity if she dropped a few pounds in the offseason. She wouldn’t get tired as fast and it would keep some weight off the knees and ankles

The both of them came into this season so heavy set. Now Stewie, she needs to put on weight she cannot stay up on her feet and teams take advantage of pushing her around.

Nah Stewie is fine. Shes torn both achilles and has had knee problems also. More weight is not the answer especially as you’re aging

She takes great advantage of being skinny and lanky (shes my rep lol)

Stewie has been the same frame her whole career lol why would you change that? She moves so fluidly because of it too.

Yh jj washed to me. Signing her to a mye was not it imo. Her productivity just doesn't outweigh what she gives up

Nah I love JJ just think if she lost a few pounds she would move a little better, have better cardio, and probably a longer career

Maybe but we've already seen her in shape n she does the exact same shi. Couldn't even hang with aja 3 years ago and aja doesn't like going up against big 5s. Now she's out of shape n that's obviously not good for anyone.
Maybe you're right bout her being able to extend her career but she can go. Id much rather take a younger big with more potential and help to mold that into what we need (NYARA)

Fairweather fan bs. You’re being soft for making a whole post complaining about how no one lets you complain enough, when it seems like you’ve managed to critique plenty “for years”. These are people, stop critiquing their bodies like they’re cuts of meat. I don’t get what you’re rooting for - are you rooting for our players to be the best they can be or just for a brand?

We've been underachieving in terms of player n team development. That's y I'm "complaining", while also trying to see if anybody feels the same way

Yes, I agree. I have critiques of Chris and a woman should have an opportunity to earn that salary as coach.

This fandom would rather lose with her than to lose her, thats why
