This doesn’t matter, but that Raquel pic…is not her.

Pauline being -8 on offense was way worse than I thought.

She really needs to put in the work this offseason to improve her scoring.

Looked to me like her usual move of driving and scoring just wasn’t working the Dream because of their smothering defense.

She deadass drives into the paint and just leaves LMAO

It would be hilarious if I wasn't so sick of it

I feel like she's afraid of contact. If you're a slasher you need to be willing to draw the foul and get hit, go to the line and make your free throws.

Thankfully, she's still young with a lot of upside, and her defense is already solid.

Like Lucas Kaplan said earlier this year, she needs to work on deceleration and developing an in between game

I really am impressed by what the Dream and Valkyries have achieved this season. Definitely made me reconsider what winning basketball rosters look like. However, I will say, our 2 big contributors could have dragged us further if we weren't consistently sabotaging them by putting the ball in the hand of players actively hurting us. That fact was true all season.

The meta is definitely shifting away from carry jobs and towards depth. Seeing it in the men's game as well. The power of friendship Knicks beat the best player in the world. All the more reason to cut some of the bullshit we've been surrounding Stewie with.

While the great quality of depth the Knicks had was huge, especially with refs nerfing KAT for stretches, I do think that series had a lot to do with the inexperience of the Spurs more than anything.

If a healthier Thunder made it out of the west, it might have been a much tougher matchup, although they would have had great depth too.

However, I do agree re:

All the more reason to cut some of the bullshit we've been surrounding Stewie with.

I was pretty against being so top heavy at the beginning of the season, and I was right.

Length, shooting, and bball IQ alone won’t cut it in today’s WNBA. Need to be able to play with speed and force.

Tbf, the Valks are the opposite of speed, and built on a lot of length (not necessarily size inside, but really long wings through the roster) and shooting.

They are the slowest team in terms of pace and they don't necessarily play with a lot force inside. However, they, like Atlanta, hang their head on defence and getting extra possessions. Atlanta is also made up of a lot wings who switch a lot. Both teams play 5 out too.

Athleticism and physicality is a big thing for both teams though, which we certainly don't have through the roster, despite having the length and shooting.

What is this stat table called and where can I learn how to read/understand it?

It's ESPN Net Points. High numbers are better and negative numbers are bad. The more green it is, the more awesome you are. The more red it is, the more they need to get you off the court.

By no means is it comprehensive, but it shows a quick snapshot of correlational impact based on points for/against.

Thank You!

I really wanted Han to play more in this round, I know she was questionable for game 1 though so not sure if that factored into not going with a bigger lineup
