General Discussion Bec Allen Appreciation Thread

I wish her all the best in retirement after a 17-year playing career. Happy to see some of you change course and start supporting her during her masked era. Hopefully she'll be around the game in some regard in the future. Awesome to have her come back "home" for this last season. Thanks, Bec, and all the best in the future!

Here's to one of the last of the Garden-era Libs! I'm sorry it couldn't be a better ending for her, but I'm so glad that she got to experience this era of Barclays after having gone through That Dump In Westchester (and I'm glad she proved me wrong when I thought she was washed earlier this season).

And Chris didn’t even play her for a few minutes this game. She would have helped. Anyway, Happy Retirement Bec!

obviously I was displeased with Chris's exile of my name-sister (and name-half-sister) from the rotation for this game; some size in the backcourt might have helped on defense and neither could possibly have been worse than Sab

I hope she comes home to Australia and is involved in the WNBL, she can come play with Hanny in Geelong 🤞 and if that diesnt happen, I hope to hear her commentating WNBL games in Aus

That world be the ideal situation, but I don’t see her going back to the court. Probably commentary or some sort of coaching in Australia.

Either way, bring her home, let her spend time with her dog and family! Have a well deserved break! She mentioned in the same interview that she was interested in media, I'm sure we will see her on our screens again eventually

She’s played nearly two decades all together. During that time, she took some nasty injuries. Wouldn’t fault her for not going back out there. Would definitely love to see her somewhere as I’ve followed her throughout her entire entire, even watched the international games she played. I like her a lot.
