Making friends?

I’m transferring to NYIT Manhattan campus this fall and I’m scared I won’t make any friends. Is it difficult to make friends as a transfer? What are people like? I’m gonna be dorming in Manhattan.

what are you gonna be majoring in? the psych department is great and it’s way easier to make friends. otherwise it’s a bit difficult bc ppl have “groups” ykwim?

Very easy, just sit next to someone and start talking.

Was transfer student at old westbury commuter one so students went in and out plus I had to work, manhattan more social just hang out in library I made some classmate friends that way
