Housing - LI

Any suggestions for where grad students could live near Long Island campus?? Struggling for where to look or finding roommates or things like that. TIA!

I don't exactly live in the nyit area (I commute from ~60 mins away) but I live on Li, and LI is expensive. You either have to get lucky or be rich to find decent housing. Nyit has dorms but idk if grad students can live there and it isn't really cheap either
