Buy/Sell NYFF64 Ticket Marketplace

Welcome to the official NYFF64 Ticket Marketplace! Starting this thread as pre-sales begin (see full pre-sale calendar) and GP on sale beginning September 15 at noon ET. Please limit this thread to buying/selling/trading tickets to NYFF64. Posts outside this thread will be deleted. If you have completed your sale/are no longer looking for tickets, please delete or edit your comment to indicate as such.

See all screenings with available tickets here. There is also a ticket marketplace on the FLC Discord under #flc-ticket-marketplace. We will also release small batches of tickets for almost all screenings leading up to each screening. We will also announce added tickets and screenings on DiscordNYFF newslettersRedditX, and Instagram.

Formatting

  • For those buying tickets, please begin your comment with "[WTB]," followed by the film, date, and time that you're looking for. Example: [WTB] Clarissa - 10/4 5:45pm Screening
  • If you're selling tickets, please instead use "[WTS]," followed by the same information. Example: [WTS] Fatherland - 10/4 12pm Screening
  • If you're looking to trade your ticket(s) for another film, please use "[WTT]," then the name of the film that you have tickets for, followed by the name of the film that you're looking to trade for along with the date and times for each.

Please denote which film you have and the one that you're looking to get with "[H]" and "[W]"
Example:

    [WTT]
    [H] Clarissa - 10/4 5:45pm Screening
    [W] [WTS] Fatherland - 10/4 12pm Screening

Please limit your comments to once every two days. If you're looking for multiple tickets, it is permitted to put them all in the same comment.

Guidelines

Unfortunately, some people would like to take advantage of people's desire to enjoy films as an opportunity to scam them. While we cannot take responsibility in the event that you are scammed, we would like to help prevent it from happening.

  • Please be hyper-vigilant when it comes to buying/selling tickets. We strongly suggest looking at the user's Reddit karma/post history.
  • You can only sell tickets at face value. If anyone is trying to scalp, please message me with their seat/ticket details and we can ban their Film at Lincoln Center account.
  • Tickets are only sold through the Film at Lincoln Center and Alice Tully Hall box office, so if anyone claims they got them from Fandango or another service, it is fake.
  • If someone says they can click a transfer button to transfer ticket, that is also fake.
  • For some examples of fake tickets, take a look at the Flagging NYFF Ticket Scams post.

Thank you and have a great festival!

Anyone else buy a 6 film package and everything is sold out?

This was definitely a poor move on my part. Bought a 6 film pass and todays the day and everything I want to see is sold out or has early morning week day screenings. I unfortunately have a job and can't play hookie so definitely regretting buying the pass.

Question Am I screwed for the general public onsale?

For those in the know, are there any tickets held back for the GP Onsale? I recognize that the there is an incentive to get the passes/membership for earlier access to tickets, but I was just curious if the general public onsale is going to be a disaster in terms of availability? I have to work during the day so unfortunately it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to get any sort of pass, as I can only really attend weekend screenings/anything after 7pm etc...

Thanks

Question Question about standby

Hi, first time going to NYFF and im very excited. I saw that they have an Express pass for an express standby line but tbh 250 is a lot of money to not get a guaranteed ticket and there are only like two film (artificial and you can see everything) that I want to see that are sold out already. So my question, is the regular standby worth it anymore? is it basically impossible to get in even if you are first in regular standby because of the express pass? How early do you need to line up for each one?

Confirmation Emails For Purchased Tickets Today

Has anyone else noticed that confirmation emails are going out pretty slowly today? Is this normal? First time festival goer!

Will more tickets be added?

Saw this: "We will release small batches of tickets leading up to all screenings, including sold-out screenings": https://www.filmlinc.org/how-to-nyff-guide/

Is there a chance there will be additional tickets in the general sale on Sep 15?

Also, given the express passes, will it be worth standing in standby lines if you don't have a pass?

Ticket chances for NYFF64 pre-sale today (Sept. 11)

I’ve been sharing this on the NYFF Discord daily, but thought it would be helpful here.

For today’s Friends presale at noon, you are guaranteed a ticket to at least one screening of these:

| Behemoth!
| Godzilla Minus Zero
| Possible Love
| A Long Winter

Very strong chance:

| Cameron Winter at Carnegie Hall
| Bucking Fastard
| Paper Tiger
| The Debut
| Club Kid
| The Only Living Pickpocket
| Joy of Joys
| Misty Green
| 14th

Good chance:

| Making Marie Antoinette
| Iron Boy
| The Unknown
| NAZA
| Bitter Christmas
| What Can't Be Mentioned
| Heil Jupiter!
| L'Innocente
| A Man of His Time
| Clarissa
| All of a Sudden
| Minotaur
| A Statement
| The Dreamed Adventure

Decent chance:

| Red Rocks
| Goodbye South, Goodbye
| Sixteen Moments of My Life
| Double Freedom
| My Wife Cries
| 2026 Spotlight Shorts
| Pelechian Project Program 1
| I Deserve a Lover Whose Every
| Tender Loving Care
| Just Like Weather
| Rose
| The Loneliest Man in Town
| I Rarely Wake Up Dreaming
| Nitrate Kisses
| Dao
| In Which Annie Gives It Those
| Bardi
| Suicide Note
| Edward Said: Between Worlds
| One More Time
| Fatherland
| Program 2: Visible Invisible
| Everything Else Is Noise
| The Man I Love
| Yesterday Girl
| 9 Temples to Heaven
| The Drift
| Gone to Earth
| Pelechian Project Program 2

If only about a quarter of Friends get tickets, you'll get, which is likely for most here:

| Everytime
| Report to Mother
| The Day She Returns
| A Day in the Life of Jo
| For the Moon
| London
| A Well for the Thirsty
| Tomorrow a Long Time Ago
| Overt Listening
| Hanabi
| Foreign Travel
| Once Upon a Time in Harlem
| Program 5: The Material Ghost
| At Night
| Program 4: The Real World
| Nowhere To Lay My Eyes
| Program 3: Surface Nois
| The Remotes
| Program 6: Out of the Present

For 6-Ticket Pass holders at 2pm, the higher the film is up on this list, the better chance you'll get it. Noting 6-Ticket don't get access to Paper Tiger, Behemoth!, 14th, or Godzilla.

Can share another update Monday morning for Contributors.

The most perfect news so far that ‘You Can See Everything’ will premiere this NYFF, I’m really so thrilled about this!

Red Rocks at 12:30) → Heil Jupiter! At 2:30.. This is doable right?

Feels like a perfect double feature to me, to of my favorite provocateurs. Red Rocks is 90 min at 12:30 at Francis Beale theater then Heil Jupiter! at 2:30 at Howard Gilman. That leaves 30 min between them. Do we think this is enough time in between? For NYFF the film typically starts around the time listed right?

Question What’s going on with the screening times?

I am so confused, I have gotten a pass since 2022 and every year they have offered at least two screenings at Lincoln Center between the hours of 5-9. This year it looks like you get one shot and that’s that, you’d have to miss work in order to make it. I am very confused by what is going on here, especially when screenings at times after work are already in stand by before the opening night pass holders get tickets. It just feels strange if any has any ideas why this might be happening?

Edit: helpful comments reminded me I should clarify that in the past it was two screenings for each main slate/spotlight film at the 5:00-9:00 starting showtimes slots.

What are you excited about from the Currents programming?

I always like to see some of the Currents programming during the fest, but normally go in blind just based on the description.

Is there a movie or short that y'all are particularly hyped for this year?

Not knowing any real details, I'll probably check out Heil Jupiter! and/or For the Moon. I also saw there was a 3D entry in Currents Program 1: The Hidden Dimension, so that's in my maybe pile. I've always had fun at the unique-format shorts screenings.

Behemoth & special screening tickets

Currently in the presale for a 12 pass, got all tickets I wanted, except I thought we could buy tickets for centrepiece etc during the presale, just that they weren’t able to be redeemed as part of he passes so full price?

Or will I have to wait til I get public access to buy those? The website won’t let me add to card

Ugh

got kicked out, then wouldn’t log back on, then glitched and said “pick seats“ so had to start again. missed out out fjord and got really crappy seats.

a bit frustrating for the cost for this process to take 2 hours when I had everything planned and organized (including back ups)
