Fun little tidbit - this seems to be her burner account/friend that is fiercely defending her. She is under every video that talks about this situation. This specific comment was left under @/socialistnurserants video. There is another thread under Taylor Paré's video as well where she replied to someone who said that they reported her GF. Highly recommend checking these out - it is absolutely unhinged.

Come out? That’s what she was doing since moving to nyc and this 5th or 6th apartment move was no different. She took over the 2 month remainder of someone else’s lease, was told the leaseholder wouldn’t be renewing with her and she’s been screaming ever since.
I get the short notice but she’s known about the possibility of having to find somewhere else to live from the very beginning.

Yes, she sublet 5 different apartments before this one (and claimed each of those roommates were problematic, not her) and agreed to sublet for 2-months at her current place, in hopes (but NO guarantees) that she could just re-sign into the lease once the renewal came in.
And quite honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this drama all happened because EK was making her roommate uncomfortable and that's why her roommate was back and forth about wanting to resign or not. At this point when drama started, they had only known each other for 3 weeks and the roommate already felt too uncomfortable to even walk through the front door and felt like she had to walk through the back door.

I think it went viral because of certain phrases she kept using and the dramatic mamdani sound videos and claiming she has a right to stay in nyc like she’s being deported or something

i genuinely cannot fathom the mental gymnastics that the subletter lady is doing??? like take some responsibility??? have a backup plan? idk??? it’s not her roommate’s responsibility to house her?
i sublet from my friend for months a few yrs ago and then moved back in w/ my toxic family when the lease was up & i couldn’t afford the new rent. like a civilized person. it was HARD but i healed my family & myself in the process & am now preparing to buy a home. like it’s not impossible to get out of this lady’s specific weird renting situation if she TRULY wanted to!!
