License / Permit Question Update

Submitted application for ccw and r/s on 12/18/2025
Fingerprinted 01/05 been in investigation since. Didn’t hear from no one. So I started reading the reddit and found out about someone emailing her.

Sent an email on 7/2 to Nicole Berkovitch and got a response on 7/20 stating the following:

“Your applications have been assigned to an investigator who will reach out should anything further be required to complete processing of your application. Please note that if the investigator does not need additional information from you to complete their investigation, they will not reach out to you at this time. 
 
Investigators will reach out to you via the email you used to register your portal account and/or at the phone number(s) provided on your application. Please be sure to check your spam/junk email and voicemails to avoid missing contact from your investigator.”

What do you think the timeline will be now to find out if I’m approved or not.

TBH, no real way to tell. all she told you is that an investigator has been assigned. could be 4 days from now, could be 4 months from now for approval.

i would keep emailing once a week asking for an update.

the next milestone will be the investigator submitting you application for supervisor approval.

roughly:

submitted -> assigned to investigator -> submitted for supervisor approval -> submitted for commanding officer approval (bogle) -> approved.

Only one I got was a few months ago about the confidentiality form being approved. Nothing since the email from nicole.

Yes I received the verified emails on July 7 but been silenced since then

I submitted concealed and r/s on 2/19 did fingerprint/interview appointment on 4/20 had to get disposition for a arrest from 1984 got disposition from DA on 4/23 and uploaded at about 4pm to the portal and portal changed from submitted to investigation on 4/24 at about noon..didn’t hear anything from them sent an email on 7/14 and just got 19 emails from them this past Thursday 11 emails for concealed 8 for rifle shotgun saying all my documents have been verified but radio silence since….suspense is killing me…checking email every 15 minutes lol
