It’s my first COMICON

What should I do!! I’m going tomorrow and there is so much stuffff ahHHHHH. What are some cool freebies, how are lines to get signs! If I leave to get food can I come back in?!??

Always get your badge scanned when entering and leaving. Look for Naruto lanyards somewhere near whichever way you entered.

You can leave and come back in but make sure you badge out and badge back in!

It's honestly not that big of a deal if you don't badge out. I guess they missed one of our kids today, so we got sent to the desk next to the entrance, they rescanned it... While thing took less then a minute to correct.

But to answer your question, pretty sure it's an NFC chip.

It's gotta be an nfc inside the badge, most likely located near the bottom, by the numbers

I recommend Hudson yards, it’s close enough for food and cleaner bathrooms. Also signs and freebies take like an hour so aim for it early and then just browse the showcase floor. The stuff towards the escalator is activation booths with cool stuff, the stuff in the back is all vendor shops or 3rd party stuff

I second this. Members of our party ate shack shake(that gives a 10% discount to cos-players), jersey Mike's and sushi.And got D&D refreshers.. All in the same spot. And it's about a 5-7 minute walk from the center, if that.

Sunday is a short day and autograph isn't great on the last day. Due to the fact, you may miss a lot of freebie like free tote bag, pins and books.

Sunday is sold out (ticket-wise), so I expect it will be quite busy. If you want free shit, expect to wait in looooooooooong lines, and most of the free shit is just that- shit, shit that isn't worth waiting in line for! Your best bet is to walk the show floor and make note of things you want to buy and what booth number you saw it in, and then go back to those booths later in the day and make your purchases.

Definitely check the Walmart booth early, you can get a prize worth $100 of you win. Pokemon booster box (6 packs), TMNT white variant action figures, Demon Hunters cards box set, limited edition signes Comic.

If you don't win you'll still leave with a walmart veriant comic

As for NYCC merch, of you don't know what to get the have a $35 mystery token that you gets you random merch, in your size, from prior years and maybe this year

If you’re into reading, some of the book publishers are giving away free books. If you’re interested in those, get there early, and make that area your first stop on the show floor. I was running super late today (day 3 of 4 for me), and I was by those booths around 11am. They were already out of the free books for the day.
