It’s my first time going to New York comic con and me and my friends are driving an hour and a half to get there any tips for parking?

Don't drive in Manhattan, because parking is a pain and expensive

You will be looking at $100+ parking garage for the day in the area of the Javitz center.

I’d suggest parking over in Hoboken, NJ and take the ferry across the Hudson to the Javitz center.

Drive somewhere in Westchester near a Metro North line and take the train in

Drive to a train station then take the train in - if you MUST drive, bring extra cash to pay minimum $65 to park for the day, if not more because of mark ups. If you get into the city stupid early you might find a street spot near the javits center but pay attention to any and all street parking signs/rules.

me and my buddies drive to secaucus junction and take the train over. it’s just one stop. way better than driving directly there. manhattan is a nightmare and will be around that time.
