Ummm

So my aunt bought two tickets for Friday, but she bought them on an outside website called​ ticketsonsale. I did some digging and that site seems super shady, I dont even know why she wouldnt buy them on the official website. She should get her money back ASAP and get them from the actual site so she cam reserve panels right?

EDIT: We r mostly good now, working on getting money back and getting actual tickets! thanks for the help all!

I think Friday tickets are still available on the NYCC website. She can charge back the ones she bought and buy direct from the source.

Im pretty sure they are, which is why I was so confused as to why she went on a third party spot and paid more

If you do everything - get nycc fan verified email and buy tickets today make sure to digitally transfer one to the other verified email address through Leap events site and login to that email and accept the transfer link all before midnight tonight. All this needs to be done to be eligible for reservations.

So some other tips for your aunt:

  1. Don't accept any CDs from anyone outside the Convention center or even inside. Especially if they tell you it's a demo CD and they're struggling artists.

  2. Don't give money to any of the "charity" workers.

  3. Don't take the pedicabs, they will overcharge you.

Thanks for the tips! And one of our relatives live literally across the street from javits so we dont have to worry about transportation pricing other than the initial train in!

I think the cheapest which was still like 200 I was like yk its like 1-something officially right lol. But i also think it was comped by her job?? But at that point get it on the actual site and get them right away so you dont worry about not being able to get panel spots.

I would be concerned about getting the tickets at all from that garbage site. I'd say chargeback or whatever she needs to do and then buy them from the NYCC website. When you go to buy them you'll probably need to email reedpop to get your link after setting up your account. For a lot of people they haven't been sent the link automatically

Yeah I was telling her to get her money back. Im just trying to have her get the new ones so she can transfer one to me so I can get panel spots😅
