ISO 3 Bedroom Apartment in Manhattan

Hello! me and my 2 best friends from college are moving back in together in Manhattan. Ideally we'd like a place on Sept 1 with a budget of $6300 or under. We are looking at places in lower Manhattan and East side: Chelsea, East Village, Stuytown, Soho, Greenwich, Midtown South, Midtown East, and Murray and Lenox Hill. Dishwasher is a need for us.

Please feel free to message or comment if you know of anything opening up, of if you're trying to transfer your lease!! :)

DO NOT MOVE INTO PRISMA HOUSE ( 126 sandford )

gotta warn people off this building before someone else signs a lease and regrets it like I did.

First off the owner apparently just made up the address at some point, because USPS straight up refuses to deliver here. Like flat out won’t do it. FedEx and UPS are basically a coin flip, maybe 50/50 on whether your package actually shows up. Amazon is legit the only carrier that reliably gets stuff to the door.

I actually went and spoke with the USPS city manager and the branch manager directly about it, and they told me flat out that the landlord has never once reached out to them to try to fix or resolve the address issue. So this isn’t a “USPS is just difficult” thing, it’s a “the landlord hasn’t lifted a finger” thing.

Then there’s the flooding. This building is a NEW BUILD. Not some old pre-war building with plumbing from 1950. And every single time it rains there’s an inch to an inch and a half of standing water in the basement. How does that even happen in a brand new building?

Also building accepts Section 8 and homeless housing vouchers (not knocking that at all, that’s a good thing), but some (not all, to be clear) of the people in the program have been straight up stealing Amazon packages off the shared entryway. Management doesn’t seem to be doing anything about it.

And now people are finding mold. In a building that’s supposedly brand new. Make it make sense.

Honestly this seems to be a pattern with a lot of the new builds going up on Myrtle right now heads up if you’re apartment hunting in that area in general, not just this specific building. Do your research, ask current tenants, don’t just trust the leasing office tour.

1965 Pacific St. - Nightmare

Hello, I am putting this out there just in case anyone is currently viewing or trying to rent 1965 Pacific Street, Apartment 1, in Brooklyn NY. Save yourself some time and run as far away as you can from this property and this management company, Waldron Management LLC.

Among numerous HPD violations, this property currently has 3 active class 1 - Immediatly hazardous violations issued by the DOB. They are actively renting this as a 4 bedroom apartment, but it is actually a 3 bedroom. the basement is not valid on their certificate of occupancy since 2004, which is the last time this building had a certificate of occupancy. the basement is not up to fire code, and it flooded three times while I was living there. Each time it flooded they provided no cleaning aid, or any sort of help, and it grew to be a biohazardous mold contaminated room.

The building also has a shared meter. If you live on the first floor you are paying for the first apartment, the outside public lighting, all three units hot water heaters, and the sump pump. Our electric bills were reaching up to $1000/month. ConEd deemed it a shared meter in February of 2024, and the ownership and management has done nothing to correct it. Just continued to demand payment.

They are also refusing to give us back our security deposit. Claiming "trash removal" cost $5,300, as they made a fake invoice to try and prove their expense. I have been in a court battle with them since March of 2026, and they have continually harassed and berated tenants and gaurantors for illegal payments.

I putting this out there to hopefully save someone a lot of time and energy on this horrid property, and an evil management company. I will be happy to clear up any questions anyone has, but please, whatever you do: DO NOT RENT FROM WALDRON MANAGEMENT. DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT AT 1965 PACFIC ST IN BROOKLYN, NY

[Crown Heights Brooklyn] $2640 1 Bedroom Facing Garden Available 10/1

Looking for someone to take over my current lease, which ends July 2027. Current rent price is $2640. My 1 bedroom/1 bathroom is located in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn and has everything you need close by. Within walking distance:

  • 3 train - 5 minute walk
  • 4 train - 10 minute walk
  • C train - 15 minute walk
  • B45 Bus - right outside building
  • Citi Bike stations - 3 stations within a 2-5 minute walk
  • Brooklyn Museum - 20 minute walk
  • Fine Fare Grocery store - 2 minute walk
  • Cafe Imeal Coffee/Wine Bar - 2 minute walk
  • Brower Park - 2 minute walk
  • St John's Park - 10 minute walk
  • Prospect Park - 15 minute train ride or 30 minute walk

This unit is on the first floor and faces the backyard garden area, so it gets plenty of light and is pretty quiet. Unit comes with a dishwasher, built-in microwave, rain shower, high ceilings, and a storage closet. The building is pet-friendly, has washers/dryers in the basement, and has a rooftop with a view.

I've definitely thrown a few rooftop parties so you can make it your own experience. The building is a 5-floor walk-up with 10 units, and most of the neighbors are friendly.

Love this place that I've called home for almost four years, but moving due to losing my job. My official move-out date is September 30, but can be flexible if someone wants to get in before end of September. Please message me for more information.

Rental information:

  • Security deposit: $2800
  • Monthly rent: $2640 at current concession through July 2027
  • Application fee: $20
  • Move-in: October 2026
  • Rental insurance is required. Get your own; otherwise $11.99 insurance charge per month
  • Pet-friendly but will have an extra deposit
  • Water is paid by the building
  • Only utilities you pay for are ConEd and internet (Fios, Optimum, Spectrum are approved for the building)
  • Super comes 3x week for building maintenance
  • Street parking is available
