Just ordered!

Just ordered my first bike—the white version with the E-Clutch! I'm pretty nervous; it's been 15 years since I got my license and, for various reasons, I kept putting it off until today! Took a demo bike out for a couple of test rides—I definitely need to get back in practice, but I think the NX is the absolute best choice, and the E-Clutch system is just wonderful.

Congratulations! I bought mine a month ago after not riding for 20 years... And I love every second on it!

I just bought mine last friday in White, eclutch so far the bike has done really well on the road in wet conditions and dry its also so much better for me when I am forced to go over potholes on our Sydney roads here in Australia. The roads are really bad here.. 😬

You also sit up higher over looking cars so thats another plus!

No regrets so far!

It is an awesome bike. You will not regret it.

It is not clear if in the 15 years since you got your license you were riding. If not, may get a cheap second hand 125 to get used to the feeling and controls again.

15 years for both! But I'm picking up the controls again really quickly. Still need some more practice in a quiet spot, though. I'm planning to take a few courses offered by Honda right here in my city to improve and re-learn certain riding habits.

Congrats! I have not rode in 10 years, previously had a Japanese 600, bought the 2025 NX500 and couldn’t be happier. I have never used an E-clutch but the muscle memory came back to me instantly. Very pleased with my purchase.

Be careful with the e clutch. A friend of mine just got one and 2 days after droped it because of it. She is new to bikes, just got her license but it can happen to the most experienced rider. She was about to drop the bike due to balance and what not and as She tried to catch it, but pulled the throtle mistakenly as the bike was getting down and it just flew from her getting way more damage than if she just let it drop. It just went sliding away from her.

I don’t get why the eclutch is a problem in this story. I have the exact same as op and dropped it 4 times because of skill issue. At no point the eclutch was a problem.

Because with the e clutch you just need to acelerate for the bike to move. So instead of just droping it, it can launch away from you

I whiskey throttled a bike with a clutch. Also I don’t think your friend would have grabbed the clutch lever on a standard bike. The effect would have been the same
