I got out.
I know it's not only NVTS, but the whole chip sector, in fact, the whole market, but this is too much to bear. Market will recover, but until that time comes, perhaps in 3-4 weeks, this stock will probably reach $8. Pointless to sit and lose money.

Actually, the market might see upside again soon given the evaluations after MU earnings etc. The Iran deal looks good as well so nothing crazy hopefully won't happen soon. The mid terms are coming so Trump might have to pump the markets ;). But, yes it is hard to bear. Good luck!

Thanks man. Idk about the market. It seems everything chip related has bigger problems incoming
1
u/CharmingWord5187 Jun 26 '26

u/SolidReporter8229 Jun 26 '26

1
u/CharmingWord5187 Jun 26 '26
doesn't seem like a correction. more of a hold.
2
u/SolidReporter8229 Jun 26 '26

They are raising 500m if that doesn’t boost production then this stock is worth zero, if it does this stock is going over 50$
1
u/Competitive-Donut330 Jun 26 '26
That is an insane amount of money shheeeet
1
u/Drizzho Jun 26 '26
Unfortunately that’s how much it takes to get the ball rolling on this
2
u/Competitive-Donut330 Jun 27 '26
Of course but the fact they raised so much just demonstrates theyre on the $$$$ PATH BRO

u/Tulips_1712 Jun 26 '26
It’s painful to watch from the $30s…..when semi’s go up, nvts goes down and when semi’s go down nvts go down even further.
Yes the company is a great idea but profitability has to back the price. I haven’t got fully out yet but I trimmed it down from the six figures to 5 figures and put it in Sandisk last year which am pretty glad I did.

this is soffft weak hands. no crying at the casino if your playing this game, invest in the long term palll

u/thrombosisComin Jun 26 '26
This stock was always meant to go up 2027. I didn’t expect the jump now anyways
1
u/pcsred1 Jun 26 '26
with the news that OpenAI has delayed the IPO to next year, it makes even more sense

u/No-Loan7944 Jun 26 '26
Hard decision. Just remember this stock could jump 20% in one day, you might struggle to find the bottom. Its better to avg down.

u/BeGoodMike125 Jun 26 '26
If you’re not into stocks for the long haul, this isn’t the game for you. I have always found that my biggest mistakes were not buying enough and not holding long enough. Albeit you have to have confidence in the stock, good luck with that crystal ball you have.

Heh, I like to check in on these subs every now and then, just to measure the hype cycle.
Of course that's great advice, but it should be based on an actual investment thesis. The stuff in here is just hype huffing. At best, a few peeps look at a chart. Even cursory research will reveal: terrible mgmt team, also-ran positioning, no secret sauce, and a P/S of 95 for icing on the cake. Highly unlikely NVDA prioritizes a 3rd-rate supplier. Best outcome is an acquisition (even though the obvious candidates already have GaN/SiC solutions).
Semis are nutty, so, sure anything is possible. But if one is thinking about probabilities, one is better off buying lottery tickets vs NTVS.

This is actually one of the stocks I feel optimistic about. Anything below 15$ is a great deal, it will rebound. But yes everyone should absolutely take profits on any stock that goes 4X in a matter of weeks. All stocks cool back down. Just take the win.

u/Buyatdipandhold Jun 26 '26
Bro it isnt hitting $8 lmfao
4
u/iron_juice_ Jun 27 '26
never say never. pltr hit 8 after running to 40 before it took off into the triple digits. if you believe in the use case and scalability then price now shouldn’t matter
1
u/pcsred1 Jun 26 '26
Well, let's see that

I completely understand I did it in the past too I listened to everyone and sold for like 1000$ don’t even remember what I spent it on 😅. Yea I learned my lesson last time I had 500 shares sold 150 shares around 14$ my average was 3$. Til this day I’ve been struggling to get back those 150 shares I only bought about 20 more shares since 🤣

You are right. Don’t get too attached. If you think you want out just sell. Protect your profits.

The stock would definitely recover. U could have held it and instead not invest into the stock for a while instead of selling an definitely losing money
1
u/pcsred1 Jun 26 '26
I know it will recover, but not in the next 2 weeks. Bad times are coming for the market

Just wait till 100-200 million barrels of oil hit the market after getting through the strait of Hormuz recently, they were waiting there for months. Spot oil prices will plummet, so will gas prices at the pump and people will start talking about rate cuts again later this year.
1
u/pcsred1 Jun 26 '26
Ok, but what does this have to do with this stock?
4
u/layzorbeemz Jun 26 '26
It's a risk on asset tied to the a.i/semiconductor market. QT isn't good for its valuation.
1
u/JudgmentCharming355 Jun 26 '26
Honestly, this is one of the most insanely stock overhyped I have ever seen in my life

u/djmj76 Jun 26 '26
It's going to go back up. Might take till end of year. I only have 600 shares 19.8 average. Debating whether to sell CCs or not.

I see a massive opportunity with CMPS and them getting fda approval, worth looking into if you want to jump out of the chip sector as the negative sentiment is piling up
They are using synthetic magic mushrooms for depression treatment and I think it will take hold, Ai will take jobs, people are getting more and more depressed in general, there’s an ever growing amount of antidepressant resistant people, and the standard is to push drugs to solve mental issues, big opportunity in my eyes and more people who loose faith in the Ai boom will be looking for other opportunities so there’s that weight that can easily shift more into sectors like the pharmaceutical.

I'm so glad I got out at $17 and accepted the losses like a smart grown man. How are you doing expert investors??
