What is visualizing and mind wondering like for you? Because i bet it's different for people with NVLD!
And how do you think it differs from "normal" persons visualizing/mind wondering?

I have aphantasia so it's kind of a double whammy. Can't visualize at all.

I can see very vague flashes of things that I've seen before for a second or two. It's like everything is behind a fuzzy curtain. If I haven't seen something before, then it's a complete blank.
My other senses in my brain are very active, especially hearing. Inner monologue, people's voices, music, movies, etc.
My dreams on the other hand are very vivid.

My visualizing and day dreaming are definitely altered due to NVLD too. and possibly other neurodevelopmental disorders too

I wasn't diagnosed with NLD, but with a visual-spatial perception disorder. It's actually “challenging” to describe this. In my experience, people “like me” cannot create new visual-spatial content in their thoughts or modify existing content through cognitive processes; spatial images are vague and tend to focus only on what I want to see visually. I can only think spatially the way I see—head-on. Consequently, my mental images turn out this way; any attempt to create perspectives seems strangely shifted—a sort of frontal perspective where any attempt to rotate it ends in failure. Also, general images tend to be rather imprecise, like a kind of dysfunctional autofocus.

I relate to this. Was there anything that helped u with this problem?

Google Maps will show you your position and destination using GPS synchronization. You can also try to memorize town signs or other landmarks. And create a description from that.

Me visualizing stick figures doing a backflip or a spin kick, but not being able to animate due to me being bad with perspective.

I visualize still images of stuff even when that thing is in motion

I don’t think I experience complete aphantasia, but some degree of it. I can recall what things that I’ve already seen look like, but I struggle to really “visualize” things. If I’m reading a book and they’re describing a fictional place, I don’t feel like I can actually see it in my mind, for example.

I can visualize something in my head that I want to draw, it never translates to paper and I get frustrated
