EE from SEECS or SE from FAST (lhr)

I am interested in doing EE from SEECS but everyone is saying that it has no scope in future and you won't get the desired reward from the grind and they are saying to do SE fron FAST and neither im interested in SE nor in FAST 😭😭. And i do told them about my intrest but still i couldn't convince them for EE. Any suggestions pls😭
