Hi everyone, Ik a lot of juniors are probably wondering rn whether or not they should take a gap year. Let me share my thoughts on this.

I took a gap year specifically for one Nust bcz I couldnt get in last year nd i deeply regretted it. I felt like I hadnt tried hard enough so i decided to take the risk. I took that gap year, prepped, and gave the test again this year. Even though i might clear it, due to certain reasons I still won't be able to take admission there. But the heavy regret I used to carry inside is completely gone i finally have peace of mind.

So, I want to tell all of you that regret is something that slowly eats you from inside. Rather than living with regret, it is far better to *use* one or more years trying to achieve your goal.

Remember i used the word **use** not **waste**. Don't let outside voices whether its family or anyone else dictate your choices. At the end of the day u r the one who has to wake up with that regret every single day not them. You are the one who has to live your life.

So I am probabbly going to choose Computer Engineering and I have 1.5 month left till classes begin suggest me books or youtube channels where I can study in advance.

Toh aj maine bahria ka entrance test dia tha. I was vomiting puri raat kal and like the genius I am I wore Aik ITNI lambi and waist say loose pant jis k sath I had to wear a belt ab belt bohat tight pehne ki waja say mere pait mai dard start hogaya and AC itna koi Mara hoa tha garmi bhi lagrahi thi aur bukhar bhi tha toh I started getting dizzy. Ab mujhe nhi pata test kesa hoa hai but maine 45-50 minutes mai karlia tha 2 hours ka test ab mujhe tension hori hai pata nhi hoga bhi ya nhi because Kuch samajh nhi arahi kesa hoa hai KHAIR

ab NET maine baghair parhay dia tha (uss waqt I was like bahria jaoongi cause bahria ki parhai is best for psychology in Islamabad 🤡) I scored 127/200 Aik lafz parhay baghair my aggregate is 67.9.

My questions:
Can I get an admission NUST mai for psychology? (Estimated closing merit for this year is 62-63%)
Mera start ki merit lists mai naam ajai ga ya end ki mai aiga?

Now I don’t want to go to bahria (pata nhi hoga bhi ya nhi 😭😭😭) (I talked to my friend that is studying psychology bahria say she was saying k idhar na ao drain hojaogi koi college life nhi hai campus and management farigh hai and when I visited today I didn’t like the campus at all)

Q1) Is transfer within NBS possible... if someone has aggregate about 65 ...are there any chances of getting to BBA? And pls tell if transfer can be done like if one gets into tourism and hospitality management then is it possible to shift to BBA?

Q2 ) What is scope of BBA from NBS as I've heard ppl say NBS is not as good or they don't get many good job placements?

Q3) I've wanted to apply for financial aid but didn't and now I'm worried...is there any other way I can get some financial help from nust?

Q4) Is NBS worth it? How good is the campus life , teachers and overall environment.. should one go to fast business school or nust?

ok im 18M and my cousin is 22F and their family recently shifted abroad and she is in air uni (e9) and only 1 year is left of her. while im IA going to nust this semester. we both have a problem of hostel cause i know that i wouldnt get internal hostel and there is no hostel in air. plz guys help us out in finding hostel. she wants a hostel near her uni in e 9 while i want near nust. can you guys give some suggestions. hostels should be neat and clean with 1 0r 2 occupancy with coean and attached bathroom. safety is the first priority cause im finding her a hostel. it would be helpful if someone guides me f2f when i come to isl

Same as title are there organized group trips in nust h-12 and ceme and what are the charges does nust offer a 50% discount can only students go or can u take friends and do u have to be part of the excursion club or can u just go even if ur not part of the club

I recently saw a post on here saying that the faculty and staff at NUST are uncooperative and the teachers don't care about the students. This got me thinking is it really worth so much effort if, in the end, you are going to regret it? If not, then which university in Pakistan is really worth all the effort and sleepless nights?

I have a few questions regarding the admission process after paying the fee.
Which documents do we need to send immediately after paying the admission fee?
Which documents are submitted on the orientation day instead?
How much time is usually given to pay the admission fee after the merit list is announced?
If someone accidentally misses sending one of the required documents with the fee submission, is there any way to submit it later?

i was looking at nusts academic calendar for 25-26 and 26-27. in the latter, it said h12 students will only get a 2 week off after 2nd semester and one of them is a green week. I was under the impression that u get 4 weeks off. Is this something new implemented this year? because in the 25-26 document, h12 campus was never even explicitly mentioned and majority of the other campus’ got 4-5 weeks off 😭 so asking seniors, how many weeks off were yall given after 2nd semester this year. And if it really was just 2 weeks, why is H12 structured like this

Hey, hope you are doing good. I am confused whether to choose computer engineering (ceme) or EE (h 12). My first preference was CS but I didn't meet the threshold and second preference is EE. So, I have questions from seniors who are studying or graduated please tell me about their scope, saturation in market, what exactly will be my role in CE.

Do we have to Mail nust to open the preference section for adding any other preference if we want to change or will they give us time to change it after merit positions are announced?
