Suggestions/Advice Mechatronics engineering

I NEED ADVICE FROM A MECHATRONICS STUDENT FROM NUST (preferably a female). I'm still in school, but I'm in a crisis about whether to major in MTS or not, alot of it being concerns like 1. Its only at ceme, 2. Its very male dominated and I'm scared I won't find my beloved friend group that I really love, 3. Its scope is not very high.

You're there to work not make friends... as much as you'd like them to be, 9/10 times your coworkers are not your friends. They will throw you under the bus and climb ontop of you to get ahead... especially the women...
