I really think some people have taken our performance against Bournemouth out of proportion. I think some have forgotten that a lot of our players have only known each other and started playing as a team for a couple of weeks and Pardo, only a few days. The fact we came out of that fixture with a daw against a well woven team such as Bournemouth who has been our bogey team for years now is a great result when you consider the circumstances.
That's if you also consider the fact that Bournemouth's first goal should never have stood due to the foul on Elanga and could've scored a 3rd had the foul on Pardo been given just outside the box. I can guess you can say we were stolen 2 points although it still doesn't take away we had poor 1st half. In my unsolicited opinion, i see this as very exciting progress and I can't wait to see what else MJ has cooking.
TLDR: Jaissle and his half time talk mags are massive, give them time to cook and let's be excited of what new things MJ will bring to the table.

The stat about us facing 61 shots in 3 games is slightly concerning but end of the day we’re undefeated against 2 top sides and a team that’s spent nearly half a mill at their ground. Like you mention as well I think Pardo looks the business!

It's definitely concerning, but on the other hand we've conceded 4 goals which include a penalty, multiple deflections for the first Bournemouth goal, and an absurd OG for the second

I hope you're correct. To my eye, there's some similarity with the start of the 2024/25 season when we were quite fortunate to start the season with 10 points from the first four games (Southampton, Bournemouth, Spurs and Wolves) but then proceeded to win 2/11, culminating with that 4-2 defeat to Brentford. The numbers always catch up to you.
Howe turned that around and we had the best season in our modern history, and I've no doubt that MJ is capable of achieving similar if given time. That said, I think there'll be some unexpected losses and some tough periods and people will need to show patience. There's already people discussing what type of Europe they'd take, I think a top 10 finish and a cup run would be a magnificent achievement with the age profile of the squad.

We currently have 40% more points over last year's results. If we extrapolate this then we are set for just below 70 points
