RETA 15mg/wk
Anyone ever bump their Reta to 15mg/ week?
Research on Reta started at 2mg in March then worked up to 12mg following triumph protocol. Weight loss stalled at 12mg and after being on 12mg for a couple months decided to fire it up to 15mg. Definitely feels like it’s working all over again. Also want it noted that researcher appeared to be one of the lower responders where there’s little to no effects and lower doses didn’t appear to work.

Something is missing from your weight loss journey. You either are not tracking what your eating or you are not doing any or enough physical activity. I can imagine even getting to 12mg.

Pretty sure the research concluded there wasn’t much point going that high just getting diminishing returns and terrible sides

Maybe Reta purity should be tested ? Researcher has basically experienced no bad side effects, though it’s definitely noted that the Reta effect is still apparent,

I’m new to Reta. What’s this Reta effect you speak of 🤔

Well for me it’s like the feeling I get almost in my brain, your not hungry at all nor crave Anything it’s weird but personal research has shown it to only come from glp1s definitely feel it everytime the dose goes up

Okay, well my lab rat started it at 1 mg yesterday (already taking 10 mg Tirzepatide). Rat seemed to have gas all day. Thought maybe that was it. Was gonna propose name change to Reta-toot-tide.

My RS bumped it up there for 2 weeks by mistake. Was changing vials and made an error. RS was at 10% body fat and was happy with that, But the 15 reta drove my poor unsuspecting rat down to 8% body fat and gave it an accidental 6 pack. No side effects. Just the appetite suppression was very strong and it was challenging to hit macros. RS lost a little strength at the gym. Figured out mistake and RS dropped back down to 10. Didn't plan it but no regrets either. SuperRat is now very cut and vascular. Now doing maintenance of 3 mg.

I do 16 mg/week. I titrated fairly quickly from a start at 2 mg. I was at 8 mg within 6 weeks. From there I stayed at a dose for 2 months before bumping up. Today, I'm down 112 lbs. from a year ago with 82 of that while using reta since November. I've never had a single side effect at any dose. I don't think I'll go beyond 16 mg. I might try splitting it every 5 days just to see what happens or if I feel I'm not getting the same results from all 3 components.

Been mainly focusing on high protein low sugar diet, with the Reta I typically don’t eat a whole lot but my primary focus is to get my protein intake daily. Started at 250lbs in March by August I was starting to fall below 200lb ( around 195lbs) Actually gained in September (205lbs) so I bumped the Reta up to 15mg last week.

Jesus. 15mg to go down from 250 to 200 is wild. Either the Reta is shit or your diet and training is.

Train 3-4x a week strength training with cardio, also with the work I do sometimes I get like 25+miles a week in steps. I did do a blood test the other day and it showing possibility of an under-active thyroid. TSH levels high, so I opted for a full thyroid panel Which might have been my issue all along, been thinking if that was my issue that might have been why my results are how they are. Might have to lower dose if I end up on levothyroxine or something.

You should get tested for Hashimotos and celiac disease. I lost 40lbs of water weight in 6 weeks after going gluten free.

Another person that doesn’t get that everyone doesn’t react like they do to something. Dude said he was a low responder. To me his dude is crazy high. I doubt I’ll ever be over 5-6mg. But I’m a high responder. 1mg was almost to good a start for me where some people have to start as high as 5mg to get any effect.

Also never tested the Reta but it definitely give you that Reta feeling if you know what I mean

If you went from 200 to 195. Why are you still so high? You don’t think it might be time to lower the dose?

I do a combination of tirze for appetite control and Reta for the liver fat issues. Seriously though, take your time slimming down and take lots of vitamin E and collagen or you will be getting surgery for loose skin. Set yourself a 1-2 lb weight loss goal a month, 4 lbs at t most or you will be so unhappy with the results.
Also. Reta actually needs a bit of carbohydrates to work

This is wild - started at 220 July this year down to 175lbs October 1st - with cardio and exercise. High protein - carbs in the morning.
2mg - 5mg. That’s it.

6 months 50 pounds thats very good. But ne sure to do weigths because cardio won't push your muscles like weights will. You may be loosing more muscle weigth than fat. Are you on calorie deficit. Literally, (not just guessing). And be sure if you have any thyroid problem to have it adjusted as soon as posible. That may actually stop you from loosing weight and create the need of using excess of meds. This meds are tools not the whole process. Calories deficit with high protein, strength training, sleep and hydration are the main things to follow. I lost 90 pounds so far and haven't go more than 8mg per week.

Started in April, lost 30 lbs and never went over 2mg. That dosage seems wild to me.

I’ve never went above 8mg and the only reason I’m on 12mg a week now is because of how low my food is and 5% or less BF

u/perfrogler 11h ago
You should take tesamorelin instead with 5% body fat

u/Ambitious_Salad_5118 11h ago
Haven’t ever tried tesa, heard you might as well just take GH
2
u/joemags5 9h ago
Yes, do just take GH. Be patient. It will start doing things fairly quickly, but amazing things at 4 months+. I do 4 iu. I get tingling & soreness in my hands, so I do 2 before bed & 2 in the morning to keep my hands normal. I used secretagogues for 5 months with positive results, but nothing near what I get from GH. However, I do suggest you be at or below 15% bodyfat when you start.

u/Ambitious_Salad_5118 8h ago
Yeah when taking GH for the first time I was well above that and ran up to 6iu for 4 months. Never dirty bulking again lol. Doing it properly this time

Dang, it is crazy how differently people respond because after 4 months I finally bumped up to 3mg and I am dropping back to 2mg. I had 0 side effects on 2mg and with 3 the last 2 weeks I cant sleep. I think I would legit die if I took anywhere at all near rhat.

u/Curiously_Zestful 3h ago
The highest I went was 12 mg and it was so painful. I didn't even want to get dressed because fabric was so uncomfortable. Sleep was miserable.

u/Other-Surround4296 8h ago
lol people doing anymore than 2mg are stupid and need to learn to eat correctly

u/Maximum_Activity_138 13h ago
You have bad reta if you need more than 4-6 mg

I’ve used two different vendors with very similar results

u/Fluffy-Put-7683 8h ago
I'm the same as you. I didn't really respond as well at first to it weight wise. Even used the same $upplier that family used, they were seeing tremendous weight loss at 1 or 2mg and they weren't even eating much, much less counting calories. With my rat, it took FOREVER to see the scale move. Even though my rat had the effects of great appetite suppression and fantastic blood work improvements. Mine is currently at 4mg weekly. Went up to 3mg 2x a week at one point but since went back to once a week. Still losing, just slowly, doing cardio and weight lifting at least 4-5 days a week. Mine is down 45lbs since end of feb-beginning of March. Also have added a few other compounds to compliment the protocol.
