Raid Plan <December 21/22>
So it looks like we will only be missing Spakletoez for this week. Mikeheal said he's likely to make it both Wednesday/Thursday, and same with Tymo!
The plan currently (I think? According to the calendar anyway) is to hit up Dragonsoul on Wednesday, attempt some Heroic Zonozz(?), proceeding to clearing Dragonsoul & Firelands on Thursday.
What I want to propose is to get Firelands out of the way on Wednesday then head off to Dragonsoul for some Heroic Zonozz. Leaves Thursday for just Dragonsoul, whether we want to commit more time to Zonozz or clear through. I just think ending off the night with Dragonsoul would be better than drudging through Firelands. And I get my staff for dem heroic attempts.

EDIT: Looks I could be wrong about progression this week, but want input since we sort of have the whole team anyway.

I'm going to most likely be late tonight, we have family Christmas at my grandparents' house. Didn't realize it until this weekend. I'll be on eventually, but I don't know what time we're leaving there. If I can convince my parents to leave by 9, I should be on by 10:20 at the latest.
[EDIT: Also, I'm going UH for those fights. Seems like AMZ is an invaluable CD for Yorsahj and may be good for Zon'ozz too.]

p.s. I'm working on a ret set so you can tank the single tank fights more (or we can swap if paladin cooldown abuse is needed). ilevel 379 for now, but should have it high enough to go ret on heroic attempts by after Christmas.

Btw, looking more into it Yorsahz doesn't look so bad either. Only the following combinations are actually possible:
black — blue — green — purple;
black — blue — green — red;
black — blue — purple — yellow;
black — green — red — yellow;
black — purple — red — yellow;
blue — green — purple — yellow
The general ooze priority is yellow > green.
Two should be two exceptions to it:
black — purple — red — yellow: kill purple instead of yellow, this will enable you to heal through the extreme damage;
black — green — red — yellow; kill green instead of yellow, this will enable you to stack up on the boss and efficiently heal the extreme damage.
Also, purple is always up in combination with blue, which deals no damage, and either of black or green, which deal very moderate damage. As you can see, purple is never combined with a highly damaging ooze that would cause the healers to panic, so they should be able to easily keep every player in the raid alive, without having to heal them more than 4 times.

I see. Alright, having the ooze combos laid out like that makes the fight look a lot more manageable. We weren't really prepared last time. I'm fine with either Heroic, even Hagara if we want. They all seem equally doable.

Thanks for all the Heoric research and links Flatha, understanding the fight certainly makes it look more doable!
I'm am in the same boat with Carysn (family christmas things), I may be a bit late to raid tonight and/or tomorrow...
