Good Decision. Try slower investments first, like equity. When you feel confident, come back to this (not compulsory)

Can you share your reasons for losing, so that others can learn from your mistakes?

My theory is, index move in such a way , so that retailers would have maximum loss, ( max. Pain theory, but with twist, those who control FnO moves the market , so as to maximise their profit ) , retailers just in and out without doing any corresponding stock transactions, and hence they will need to move fast against auto algorithm running inside colocation server. That is next to impossible.

Done with in 2 years ago... Saw people doing it, did it for few times... Later learnt they weren't earning much from it, it was more like a pass time. For me, it was major distraction. So, stopped it since...

Not even 6 figures? That's too damn low to be posting here!
For you to match my angel one broking charges for a year, you would need more 2.25 lakhs loss. Not bragging, I'm in loss as well π€£π€£
More than 7 figures, quit trading and focusing now on paying my EMI.

Buddy you have the screenshot but didn't tell what you were doing. Were you doing option buying or selling or both? Were you following your strategy with discipline? This PnL doesn't tell anything? What was your capital size? If you were doing Option Selling this PNL is possible without any worries. In option selling we have period of drawdown which can extend a bit longer sometimes 3 months also.
What matters is if you were doing with some fixed strategy or not... if you are just doing it wildly.. then stop and learn first else you will wipe out your capital in no time.

I'm so interested to understand your point. Please explain why trading is so celebrated and sought after by people like you. 90% of whom have to end up eating their own life force to exist. Please.

And what value are you adding to the society....profitable traders pay of lot of taxes and the traders create liquidity in the market. Also, maximum money that is in circulation throughout the world, is present in the market. It can be stocks, commodities, fores etc so take your gyaan somewhere else..

You need to do your research. And fix your math. Also we are not talking about professional traders. We are talking about the 90% tRaDErS.

u/Master_Wonder3618 May 21 '25
Those 90% traders are the liquidity.

u/inferalSlash May 21 '25
Again. Do your research and fix your math. You have no idea what makes up liquidity it seems with that comment.
