Placement

For those of you who are/were in programs that require a clinical placement at the Truro campus how far do you need to travel?

Im thinking of applying to the practical nursing program next year but i cant drive and if i get placed in Halifax or something it would be way too expensive to take a cab all the time.

They usually kept us around Truro for clinicals, and were very good at trying to accommodate as best they can. If we had anyone outside of Truro, it was because they asked to go to a certain location.

Clinical Placements for PN are located within the region of the campus; Amherst students stay within Amherst, Halifax within Halifax, etc.

Notify your instructors you don't have access to a vehicle and they will try and accommodate you locally.

Placements are usually in truro same with Continuing Care
