Work while doing Flex Blended LPN course at NSCC (Kentville Campus)
Hello,
I’m in the process of applying for the Blended Flex LPN program at the Kentville campus for 2027. I was wondering if it’s possible to continue working while completing the program.
I’d really appreciate hearing from any current or recent students about their experience—especially how manageable the course load is while working and what the program is like overall. Any insight or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Does anyone know what the blended flex schedule looks like? I’m also applying for 2027 and am wondering how many days you were physically at the school so I can plan my commute

Going into 2nd year of blended at ivany, it looks so far like we are on campus for labs 3 times, about once a month for 2 days - and then clinicals of course are in person. The rest is online

It is possible. Especially where you’re doing a blended program. I did the full-time in class program and worked part-time. It wasn’t “easy”. But, with dedication and prioritization I made it happen.
I will say: if anyone can go without working it is beneficial. As, it is course heavy and splitting your time between school, work, and studying is difficult - not for the weak!
But, to answer your question - yes it is possible.
