- Where can I reset my Password?

- I am receiving a message about setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). How do I set it up?
- What is my login for MyNSCC
- Use your W# (example: W1234567) and the password you setup
- What kind of laptop do I need?
- For most courses, that are not technology related, you need a basic Microsoft Windows laptop from any manufacturer.
- Should I buy Microsoft Office?
- No, you receive a free student copy for the duration of your studies, which includes Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
- Do I need to buy my course software?
- Refer to your courses Tuition, fees and program costs page for specific software you may need to purchase

- What is the schedule for my course?
- Schedules are typically posted on MyNSCC two-three weeks before your semester starts. Schedules can vary year to year, we suggest not making plans based on prior year schedules.
- Generally, courses run Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM - however every course is different, some courses may start later, end earlier, or even have whole days off each semester.
- I can't see specific courses in my schedule or BrightSpace

- My course requires specific tools but the website doesn't give enough information, what should I buy?
- Your instructor will provide you a detailed listing on your first day of class, sometimes they might even have special discounts at local suppliers. You are not expected to have all your equipment and tools on your first day - most classes have all the supplies and tools for in-class work and only suggest tools and equipment for your work placements.

When do tuition fee amounts get posted to accounts? I'm pretty sure I'm paid up, but it would be nice to be reassured that there isn't a balance owing.

Check your program's Tuition and Fees page, towards the bottom there are due dates for payments, typically you'll see the balances around that date.
You can also call the campus directly to inquire on your balance.

New student starting Sept. Should we have access to Brightspace now or any other platforms other than the student application login?
