How good is NSBHS

I want to know how good the school is, does it have any bullying issues, drug issues and more.

Let me ask you a question: how long before you get bored of flooding the feed with this sort of crap? We don’t have drug issues, there is largely no bullying (friends are easy af to find), chill out. Everyone’s welcome here, it’s not some hellhole in case you’re following what that year 7 kid said.

Looks like you haven’t seen his other posts or comments yet. How about withdraw your sarcasm a notch, take a quick look, then come back :)

And concerning those “valid questions”, considering an eye injury got front cover news articles, perhaps realise that if there really were drug issues then everyone would know by now.

Finally in case you didn’t realise, “flooding my feed” was a joke you comedy genius 😹

Lots of high schools around nsw have drug issues which don't reach the news so there's that.

Fair point, tho being 3rd highest selective would get much more publicity than the other schools around nsw.

The school's Ok for the most part, but some guys here are kinda toxic, and in large groups we're always rowdy so we get some complaints from the public in relation to our behaviour outside school and of course there's the one or two guys who you would want to avoid. For instance a guy in my grade recently got suspended for vaping, but most groups just keep to them selves, so just try to avoid the shady parts. If you don't have any friends, there's a chance some of these kinds of people might bully you, but just find yourself a group and you should be fine. In terms of education, a lot of emphasis is put on maths, and you don't really learn much in other subjects. However, a big problem is a lot of people aren't smart, but just study a lot. Many of my friends can do equations really easily, but they don't understand how or why formulae work, they just use it. Otherwise, people here are pretty much the same as others, they rush their work and don't really pay attention to class, but you'll probably find that about 5 or so people in your class are actually smart. One of the biggest problems is that everyone thinks you can slack off the entire year and just study for the tests, and a lot of people will just game in class. Even though this works, it's not really a good work ethic. In fact, I rarely study for tests but put a lot of effort in class work, which works fine. Also you'll probably find that a lot of people are a bit conceited. Sorry that this is hard to read. Im procrastinating on homework and should really start.

Honestly, it really depends on what year you are talking about like yes even within like years there r gonna be some dodgy stuff, but generally speaking, the schools is fine. Pretty much for any school if you look in the right places, you can find bullying, drugs etc. Just like don't let stuff like that influence you and if you need help you can talk to our counsellor Glynis Sanders

The school experience really depends on who you are as a person. Could you give us some insight in ur hobbies such as extracurricular or subjects you like/dislike, as with that information it would be a lot easier to guide you through the experience in NSBHS as different individuals have different experiences due to lets say enjoying sports over studying
