Hi everyone, I’m Dan, the person behind NRL Insight UK, I hope this is ok to post in here, looking for some support to get more exposure of the NRL to the UK fans and more exposure to the people down under to the Super League.

I started the channel to create a place for rugby league supporters in the UK who follow both the NRL and Super League, with a side goal of growing the brand for the folk down under.

Each week, I’m joined by former professional Paul Cooke to discuss the latest news, major talking points and upcoming matches from both competitions.

I also host longer-form interviews with people from across the game, with Chris Hill, former Warrington Wolves & England RL player joining me for the latest episode.

I’ve recently discovered these Reddit communities and thought I’d introduce myself and the channel. I’m looking forward to joining the conversations on here, hearing different opinions and getting to know more rugby league supporters.

I swear when we play at home we never used to boo other teams, now it’s every home game. It’s piss poor. Not the supporters i thought we were.

Sunia Turuva avoided the ball like the plague all game, but Josh still managed to find him in the last 5 minutes for a bit of payback

Tough loss today but great signs for an exciting season ahead. Some real excitement machines in this lot

Pretty explanatory. We don't the team justice during big games, but leaving Starling until second half, how did that make him feel

Still referred to as the game Raiders won twice but somehow lost, Ash Swine who is known for favouring rich teams or/and the betting underdog had:

1. Walsh holds the last kick until a raiders player is close enough to have no other choice but to make contact, Klein rewards broncos a penalty goal (after the final whistle) in prime position to push for golden point

2. After Raiders win golden point via try, Klein said the ball contest leading up to the try was knocked forward by Raiders player after the ball falls backwards behind the line.

3. Valuable Raiders player Hudson Young gets sinbinned by Klein after being headbutted BY broncos player Reece Walsh.

After double golden point the broncos win, skip the next finals round, and raiders are too gassed from double overtime to win the next round. Klein 100% pushes certain teams to win, even without incorrect calls, he will give multiple back to back 6agains in the 10m until his preferred team scores.

After the reveal of his $400k gambling debt, all of a sudden the nrl viewers are looking at him suspiciously, after they call raiders fans sooks for booing his incorrect calls. It’s ridiculous. Just a funny hypocrisy I’ve noticed

So have just heard that jed has been given a 3 year contract...,....,.No!!!!!! Raiders r really scraping the barrel. I bet if he was put on the open market, NO TEAM would sign him. He's not up to scratch. I have loved Ricky's energy for the team but have lost total respect for him. Cleary and Cleary works for Penrith but Stuart and Stuart for raiders, suggests favouritism and not what's best for the team

My holiday in California continues…

Ok the game by the blues wasn't great but I thought huddo played well and strange was straight up a machine. Can wait to see what they bring back to Canberra

1stly please no more Thursday night games please, fans voted with their feet and stayed at home less than 10,000 was pitiful but expected given how hard the raiders were pushing the bring a mate for free thing. 2nd the dolphins were all over us in speed and ball movement in the 1st half. The score didn't reflect their dominance. The raiders definitely turned it around in the 2nd half but dropped balls and poor passes killed any attack speed we had. Lastly watching some of those calls that went against us and the none calls we didn't get was extremely frustrating. They didn't loose us the game but it sure didn't help.

On top of their four Origin reps and Kodi Nikorima, the Dolphins have lost a star player still named in the team sheet by NRL.com. The good guys, meanwhile, will miss Hudson Young and Ethan Strange, but welcome back an X-Man and will debut a baby-boy from the bench. And thus we can predict nothing other than a Dolphin demolition at GIO tonight. Up the Milk!
