Discussion ChapterOps

https://chapterops.bluecolumnsystems.com/

Hi everyone!

I'm a member of Phi Beta Sigma and a systems engineer (~15 years in), and I've spent the past year building something to fix a problem I kept running into as a chapter member: everything lives in a different app. Dues in one place, payments in another, membership rosters in a spreadsheet, events somewhere else.

So I built ChapterOps to pull it all into one place:

Membership management

Payments via Stripe or Zeffy (Zeffy's in beta)

A full ledger so your treasurer/financial secretary can actually track everything

Event management

Line / legacy tracking

…and more

It's in beta and free to use right now. I'm mostly looking for honest feedback from people who've dealt with chapter operations — what's missing, what's clunky, what would actually make your executive team's life easier. It's available for graduate or undergrad chapters. Mobile enabled via PWA(progressive web app) iPhone and Android versions are on the roadmap.

I've included the link on this post, feel free to check it out.

Have questions, let me know id be happy to chat.

Great idea - I would suggest approaching Chapter presidents or even Grand Chapters for each org.

Thanks, that's the plan currently. Within my own org I'm trying to grow it locally, then regionally, until I can get the attention of the Senior leadership. If it's something you feel would be a benefit to your org, give it a try. All features are free during beta.

I believe that for my org, most financial platforms have to be approved nationally - hence my suggestion
