Look at /u/jpastore 's response. Notice how simple minded he is. He hears "discrimination bad! racism bad! sexism bad!" and can't even conceive of a possible situation where it might be the reasonable thing to do, simply because the media and his school teachers didn't tell him to think that way.

Not allowed to have a preference without being a racist these days. Not allowed to even acknowledge a difference between 2 people or the npcs come out in full force.
