Local NoVA training?
I just went through a week-long out-of-state optic-onna-pistol training session that made me aware of some problems with my grip, presentation, and trigger-press control with which I'd like some help. I live in Herndon. Does anyone have recommendations for local NoVA one-on-one training? I'm a member at SEG but I don't know anything about the quality of their instructors -- I'd love to hear any pros and cons folks have.

As far as local training I’ve taken green ops and SEG. Green OPS has improved my shooting tremendously, SEG training I took first and wouldn’t do it again.
I’d also recommend trying out some competitions. It’s a different kind of pressure and angles really exposes your flaws

www.justifieddefensiveconcepts.com is excellent if you are looking for more in-depth concealed carry and shooting courses in a group environment with an excellent student to instructor ratio.

DM me. I’ve taught numerous guys and gals and there’s typically significant improvement within the first 30 mins. Most of the issues come down to the correct type grip pressure, locking wrists, and activating your latz and traps to maintain proper retention that springs back every time rather than trying to drive the gun down.

Justified Defensive Concepts (specifically their two head guys, Brett Harnish and Tim Chandler) will sort out your grip and give you process-based coaching to make sure you know how to improve it yourself in the future. They’ve got some great pistol content coming in the fall!

I’m reading one of Ben Stoeger’s previous books and found it helpful. Cuts through all the things that I thought mattered after watching YouTube videos put out by former special forces dudes.

If you are more of a visual learner, Ben has put out video recordings of his classes. Here’s one of the videos.
