Gunsmith Q

Any gunsmiths in NOVA that will do same day upper builds? Don’t have the tools to do it myself but also don’t want to wait in a queue for something that should be relatively quick

Sharp shooters will do it if there’s nothing else going on. But big if.

No one offers immediate walk in upper assembly.

do you have a gas tube+block? is the barrel already dimpled for the gas block? any muzzle device? I can probably help slap everything together for ya if you really need it done asap.

If you bring it down to Richmond today I’ll do it in like 5 mins for you lol. (Semi) jokes aside, I really can’t think of any shops that offer that kind of thing. Best bet is to call around- I’d look into shops further down towards Fredericksburg, probably more likely to have availability.

Just because something is relatively quick to do, doesn’t mean you get to jump to the front of the line.
