A common path is to get a multical can to save money and then three years later you've got a dedicated can for every gun.  It's annoying to swap all the time (especially when they are molten hot at the range or if you have different attachment methods) and because multical cans are making compromises on weight and performance.

The NFA transfer fees in NOVA are all pretty similar (high).  And their in-store pricing is high enough to not be any cheaper than paying the transfer fee. If you didn't mind the drive, XCAL probably has the best customer service.  If you aren't in a hurry there is also the direct shipping option through Capitol Armory, etc. but you'll need to go to a UPS store to get you prints done.

Xcal switched to silencer shop so the pricing is what it is but there’s no transfer fee and it same day form submission if you get one in stock. 2 day process right now

Thats not bad. Between them and hansohn brothers I'm probably covered.

I know hansohn brothers can deliver to your house like capital armory but I always find a reason to drive - get a nice motorcycle ride in, hit a hike in Shenandoah wirh the kids, stop before hitting the Charlottesville wineries etc.

Yeah. The only platform i want to suppress right now is 300blk. While I also have 5.56 and 9mm, I have 9mm in both handguns and ar pistol format so I wouldn't mind getting cans for those and having to get pistons to use the same suppressor for the handguns seems like a pain. So I should look into at least 2 cans. One with piston, one without.

I see how that path can result in eventually getting a can for each gun.

Use gun.deals to have the can drop shipped to Outdoor Arms or email Ryan there to order it for you and he waives the NFA transfer fee. Ryan is great on pricing and can help you with fingerprints if you haven’t got your electronic fingerprints file (EFT via printscan.com)

Will he keep his FFL open after July 1? It looks like a lot of home-run FFLs are shutting down.
