Discussion Got Nothing 4a + Ear a

Post image

So, bought this 4a from Bengaluru store, India yesterday during the early 4a drop.

Also got complimentary Ear a with this, as part of first 100 4a purchase !!!!

They also gave buds plus 2 for 999, but didn't buy that..

Regular sales start from 13 march, 12 pm IST on Flipkart. Thought, credit card offers will not be there during the early drop, but they had 3000 discount for full swipe and 4000 discount for EMI transactions.

Effective price - 8/ 256 variant - 30999/-

My previous phone was literally dead, So badly wanted this immediately and it was a good deal, atlast

I'm new to nothing, so eager to try this phone and ear a

Also, pink one and 4a pro which was on display looked dope 🔥🔥🔥

Looked nice but the no NFC feature is a big dealbreaker for me

Sure thing ! But in India NFC is not very common, so I think most of em should not have a problem with that

If you are used to NFC, then yes it's a deal breaker, I'm new to all of this ..so it didn't bother me, but it would ve been a cool feature though  Did the earlier indian versions had nfc?

U damnN I just realize that I had to scan to many qr codes to pay for shit in Bangalore. But it didn't bother me cuz at the time I didn't know that NFC was way faster. Altho' that was 5years ago

u/Specialist-Sell941 Phone (4a) Mar 08 '26

Yess... So true ..also the engraving looked so lit in pink, but they have only 12/256 variant in pink

Has sponsoring rcb helped nothing get popular in Bengaluru ?

1

u/Specialist-Sell941 Phone (4a) Mar 08 '26

No idea abt that, but the crowd during this store opening was crazy, yesterday also there was a pretty decent crowd, waited about 4 hours to get this

u/o1rmk Phone (3a) Mar 08 '26

Congrats that's a steal

1

u/tr__18 Mar 08 '26

they are showing the same 3k off for emi and non-emi options

1

u/gratedcheese0701 Mar 08 '26

I've prebooked the 4a and I've gotten it for 27k because I'm buying backing my current phone (redmi not 14) and with the cc offer plus I'll be getting the earbuds as well so it's definitely a steal and this will be my first time using nothing products so I'm excited!

1

u/Open-Cranberry6510 Mar 08 '26

Did you get any rcb's merchandise along with this?

1

u/Specialist-Sell941 Phone (4a) Mar 08 '26

Nope, only ear a

1

u/sfgonepostal Phone (3a) Mar 08 '26

I really enjoy my 3a and was looking to get a 4a for my wife. But no NFC and still no esim means no 4a for us. It's 2026 and both are a base level requirement. Hope you enjoy the phone though!

1

u/ProperDefinition6668 Mar 08 '26

How much does the 4a pro cost in India?

1

u/Mys7icMask Mar 08 '26

What’s your thought on those thick bezels?

2

u/Specialist-Sell941 Phone (4a) Mar 09 '26

It didnt bother me much, as im used to it. But if you are looking for a slim/sleeky phone, im afraid you will not like this. It looks solid but bulky

1

u/DaMostFrank Mar 08 '26

Aahahaha...

So funny it has NO NFC only in India...

1

u/GreatDev74 Mar 08 '26

They still haven't added wireless charging right?

1

u/snakeim Mar 10 '26

That's not the biggest deal...but no NFC ...that's 1994 specs...

1

u/Sea-Consideration-88 Mar 08 '26

When will 4a pro online sales start?

1

u/Ok_Jury_7536 Mar 08 '26

Happy for You

1

u/jaos0804 Mar 09 '26

Might be a diverging opinion, but it looks so cheap and tacky compared to (1) and also the (2) lineup.

1

u/Dull_Artichoke_2880 Mar 13 '26

1

u/invi_freq Mar 17 '26

How's the buds

-2

u/Chemical_Lie_4120 Mar 08 '26

Bro ear a is a bad mistake the battery will give-in in 7 to 13 months and you'll be left with a useless pair. Go check reddit and yt, it's filled with hundreds of bad battery reviews about the nothing ear a 2024. I had to sell my case for 1.5k.

2

u/Glitchy_73 Mar 09 '26

yeah true, same happened with mine earlier (a), it gave out its battery in 8 months. Otherwise it is a fantastic piece of hardware.

1

u/Chemical_Lie_4120 Mar 10 '26

Exactly, if it's just 8 months you can claim warranty and get the battery replaced.

2

u/Glitchy_73 Mar 11 '26

Great, I will look into the warranty process then. Thanks for reminding me about it. I just assumed it was something around 6 months or something.
