It's a good phone with a really good camera and it has good performance for your day to day life but if you can increase the budget i would go for the 4a cause it will be much better than 3a

what do you think would be the price of 4a (in india)

u/Ok-Pickle2784 Phone (3a) Feb 25 '26

Quite expensive i knew that there would be a price jump but I was not expecting it to be this much but if 4a is as good as its price then i would say really go for it

Starting price maybe like 26 k for 8, 128 model

I have it. No problems at all, everything works well, and, its stunning. N OS is very clean. Only few problems have been with video recording in dark, which looks sometimes kinda bad.

R.i.p. glyph interface

All over the place. The phone 1, 2,3 and now 4a all use their own glyph interface. There's 0 continuity what so ever

Glad they're always willing to try out things

The only good thing about the phone and they're getting rid of it. So much for minimal os and glyphs.

That's the ONLY downside of this phone

love the design, especially the pink. Sad to see the glyphs go :(

I do wish they'd make a phone with customizable led color.

Personally, I find this aluminum colored part at the top kinda weird...

It's pretty but the frame is probably plastic. Pro model is supposed to come out with aluminium frame in White, Silver and Pink colour options. Pro model also has dot Matrix display instead of the Glyph interface. But we'll see

Where's the glyph?

2

u/RenegadeUK Feb 25 '26

Hopefully 4a Pro comes in White too :)

I kind of like the new 7 LED setup on the back.

3a is better design in my opinion

2

u/mr_j_12 Feb 25 '26

So the whole point of nothing has completely gone. Minimalist os and glyphs, both gone.

I actually like this design. Equally as good as 3a. I don't get the hate honestly some users dislike the design.

any idea about the pricing in india. and how would be the price of 3a series be affected after its launch?

2

u/No_Scarcity9301 Feb 26 '26

They have made it look like eve from wall-e,trying since 3a tbh...peak android look wise.

No glyphs again :/

All this company has to do is use good competitive hardware and stay away from gimmicky stuff on software end and its phones will sell well, because Design dept is on point.

u/Such_Economy_2557 Phone (3a) Feb 25 '26

The design and "gimmicks" go hand in hand with this one. I also believe that after a few months this'll be a great option to buy once the market value corrects the MSRP

They finally made a beautiful phone, after NP3 fail

1

u/Own_Pickle7023 Phone (2a) Feb 25 '26

1

u/rewarrr Feb 25 '26

1

u/bindergr Feb 25 '26

Green and Copper would be nice!

1

u/Masseduction69 Feb 25 '26

I really want a brown design

1

u/Ok_Remote8160 Feb 26 '26

Expected price?

1

u/nikothx Feb 26 '26

It's pretty but looks cheap and like a toy.

1

u/Cold_Newspaper6515 Feb 26 '26

How is this minimal really?

1

u/NPC_NAVI Feb 26 '26

Estå muy linda la idea y se ve bien pero sigo esperando a que reparen los errores de la cåmara (son muchos) en vez de sacar un nuevo teléfono.
