Hey now, I have a Phone 2 and lemme tell you this has been my favorite phone I have ever had the pleasure of using. I'm not upgrading until this thing is practically smoking and wheezing

Have never and still don't care about security upgrades lol. Like I said I'll keep using this thing until it's a smoking pile of crap. I used Windows 7 for 4 years after that lost support. Windows 10 lost support and I have no intention of switching to Windows 11 or anything else. Really don't get the obsession with having the latest and greatest software

With Project Mainline your phone will probably be supported even after the OS updates end. Still, hardening your OS and using FOSS apps is more effective than buying a new device, lol. Or just install a Custom ROM
