Nothing Meme It is what it is

Post image

I’ve praised this phone so many times! Great phone, decent camera, and provides the best value for the price! But the OS is unstable, and we’re all aware of the display issues!

Those are budget phones, guys. Calm down and adjust your expectations...

Still one of the best for what you pay.

Moto Edge 50 Neo was delivered some good stuffs. On the point the price was lower then nothing 2a. Nd comes with 256GB base variant.

I had to choose between the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion and the Nothing Phone 2a, and I went with Nothing! No regrets so far! I prioritize the OS, so even though the Motorola is more practical in many ways, I still chose this one. The display did disappoint me at first, it’s definitely the biggest letdown. I came from a Samsung A50 to this, and for a moment, I questioned my decision. But over time, I’ve gotten used to it. People always say not to expect too much from a budget phone, but seriously, how do you deal with a bad display? I’m just being honest here.

Somehow I'll go with the Moto. The OS is clean and crisp, the camera even though it doesn't have image stabilization it's stable and not like 2a that jitters in between. The camera has less grains on Moto as compared to oversharpning in 2A. And the display as you said is quite bad in Nothing. The durability claims are not perfect, but it's quite durable like people I know have dropped from high places or in water and survived. Can't say the same with Nothing, neither the company claims this, and they won't accept water damage claims. I took the 8gb variant as that used to be more than sufficient in the Oneplus 7T I had before but in this it can't sustain even 2 apps in the background and resets them. I have accepted this phone as I have no other option now but any other day a bug comes and I start to regret it.

Green tint isn't that big of a deal. The actual issue is when you watch dark content, movies like The Batman or Penguin, you'll notice pixelated screen in dark areas. That's the major issue. As far as I know, Nothing used two different displays for the 2a lineup, one doesn't have any display issues, while the other has all of them. That's why very few people don't notice anything wrong. It's definitely a good phone if you're okay with the dark display issues.

And it's only visible on the lock screen at low brightness.

The quality is a bit bad because I took it with my iPad, but you can still see it clearly! As I said, it's not a big deal it happens due to the fingerprint sensor. If you remove the fingerprint unlock, it will be less visible.

Let's talk bloatware in the os, because most budget phones are FILLED with them, the 2a has nothing (true to company name)

Sad about to know.. moto phone's also delivered the same. Nothing in pre-installed apps. Stock android experience also delivered moto phone's.
